We would like to thank Alexander Berman for organizing a fundraiser for AE Alliance in honor of his Bar Mitzvah. Alexander raised an amazing total of $10,359.29 that will be directed towards pediatric AE research.
Alexander was diagnosed with seronegative autoimmune encephalitis when he was 11 years old. Seeing how AE has affected his life in such a big way, he wanted to make a difference in the lives of other children and support pediatric AE research. This, alone, is absolutely inspiring coming from such a young boy, but it doesn’t stop there. Alexander is also very committed to fighting climate change. As a climate pioneer, collaborating with the Swiss company Climeworks, he is raising awareness and changing mindsets. We would like to thank Alexander and his family for making such an important and meaningful contribution. You are an inspiration to us all, driving change, while battling AE and continuing to receive treatments.
