The AEA Partners Support Group invites partners to discuss personal experiences and challenges unique to couples managing life when one person has AE and the other is the caregiver. Together, the group shares the weight of the disease and creates space for kindness, compassion, understanding and ease. Both partners are invited but not required to attend.
This peer-led, partners support group was initiated at the request of members of the AEA Regional Support Group community. It is a pilot group and will continue based on attendance, participation, and feedback from participants.
The AEA Partners Support Group is led by Ed & Nancy Garber.
