May is AEA Research Network Month

AEA Research Network Month is when the AE Alliance focuses on research funding, collaborations and AE research awareness.

Our goal this year is not only to raise funds for the 2023 Community Seed Grant Program but also to provide you, the AEA Community, a strong understanding of the huge importance of research in the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of individuals with autoimmune encephalitis.

Visit this page throughout the month and easily access all posted information.

When you invest in AEA Research Network Month, you fund the AEA Community Seed Grant Program. Juna de Vries was a 2021 grant recipient. Dr de Vries shared this in her final report.

The Research Network funds research that has a direct impact on those affected by AE. A generous donor is matching any donation made to the Research Network, up to $5,000.
With your support the last two years, we invested in three impactful AE studies in 2021 and in June, three new grants will be awarded for 2022!
