Raising Awareness for Autoimmune Encephalitis #WED2019

Seventeen days till World Encephalitis Day. Let’s all raise awareness for Autoimmune Encephalitis, because it is still too often people with AE go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.
The AE Alliance has created an infographic to make it easy to spread AE awareness. You can print it and hand it out to your friends, neighbors and coworkers. You can also share it on social media using the hashtag #WED2019. We would like to reach as many people as possible, so please encourage your friends and family to share as well.
In the weeks leading up to World Encephalitis Day, you will hear from doctors on our Medical Advisory Board. They will provide insight into what they are currently involved in and how they see this field evolving. You will also hear from AE survivors on how AE impacted their lives. And last but not least, on World Encephalitis Day we will launch the new AE Alliance movie: A Race to True Diagnosis.
