MCMASTER CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL – CANADA

Dr. Cellucci is a Staff Pediatric Rheumatologist at McMaster Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Rheumatology at McMaster University. She completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2005, her pediatric postgraduate training at Western University in 2008, and subsequent clinical and research fellowships in Pediatric Rheumatology at SickKids Hospital through the University of Toronto.  She has been on faculty at McMaster since 2012.

Dr. Cellucci has a strong interest in medical education. She completed Master’s studies in 2012 in the Health Practitioner Teacher Education Program at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.  She is one of the supervising editors of A Resident’s Guide to Pediatric Rheumatology (2011, 2014, 2016 and upcoming 2019 editions) and is working with the editorial team to create a mobile app version of this educational resource.  She is also a member of the examination committee for Pediatric Rheumatology at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a member of the Pediatric Postgraduate Training Committee at McMaster University. As a researcher, Dr. Cellucci’s interests focus on knowledge translation, inflammatory brain diseases and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.  She was first author of “Management of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis 2015: A position statement from the Pediatric Committee of the Canadian Rheumatology Association” and has participated in multiple funded research studies involving childhood arthritis patients at McMaster.
