After completing 2 years of fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology/epilepsy and neuroimmunology, Coral Stredny joined the staff at Boston Children's Hospital Department of Neurology. She directs the Autoimmune Epilepsy Program. She is the Director of Education for the Division of Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology and associate director of the epilepsy fellowship.
Her clinical and research interests focus on the intersection of epilepsy and neuroimmunology, specifically diseases such as Rasmussen encephalitis, FIRES/NORSE, and autoimmune encephalitis. She is the co-principal investigator of a prospective consortium enrolling children with seropositive autoimmune encephalitis, Rasmussen encephalitis, and Landau-Kleffner syndrome.
