What motivates you in your work at the AE Alliance?

My motivation is simple: to build the bridge I needed when I was lost. At the AE Alliance, I channel my lived experience with this disease into action—transforming isolation into community, uncertainty into knowledge, and fear into advocacy. 

My mind has its own weather: sudden storms, unexpected fogs, and brilliant, clear skies. Living with Autoimmune Encephalitis and Epilepsy means I am a student of resilience, learning the profound language of my own nervous system. I navigate a map that constantly redraws itself, finding strength in the quiet between seizures and grace in the recovery.
