Dr. Soon-Tae Lee – Seronegative Autoimmune Encephalitis and crytogenic new-onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE)

October 3, 2024

We look forward to Dr. Soon-Tae Lee joining our February 2025 AEA Provider Monthly Education Series and presenting Seronegative Autoimmune Encephalitis and crytogenic new-onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE).

This session is scheduled for February 11 at 7:00 PM Eastern US Time and offered via Zoom.

Members of the AEA Medical Advisory Board and Clinicians Network and participating fellowship programs receive monthly emails including links to register for each session.

A recording of the didactic portion of Dr. Lee’s session will be posted here after the session.

Seronegative autoimmune encephalitis and cryptogenic NORSE are two key categories of CNS autoimmune/autoinflammatory diseases, often manifesting with severe, treatment-resistant neurological symptoms. The absence of pathogenic antibodies or reliable biomarkers makes it challenging to tailor immunotherapy, determine optimal treatment duration, and predict outcomes.  This session will provide the latest insights into these diseases and discuss potential therapeutic approaches.
