University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offering course on effectively dealing with autoimmune diseases

As part of UNC’s School of Medicine, the “Program on Integrative Medicine,”  is offering a five week course titled “The Immunology of Autoimmune Disease, Inflammation and Chronic Infection: A Research-Based Functional Medicine Perspective.”

WEDNESDAYS: 6:30pm-8:30pm, February 17– March 16, 2016. ***Please note change in course dates***

Taught by Dr. Sam Yanuck, whose functional medicine practice focuses on the care of patients with autoimmune disease and other chronic illnesses.

Course Highlights:
*Provides an expanded repertoire of clinical tools to deal more effectively with patients who have complex autoimmune diseases, chronic infections and other chronic illnesses.
*Focuses on additional tools that are compatible with conventional care.
