The Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance is participating in the 8th annual “Brain Awareness Week at Duke.” AEA will be tabling on Sunday, April 3, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the first ever Duke Institute for Brain Sciences (a.k.a.”DIBS)” Discovery Day. Join us in their new 10,000+ square-foot space for laboratory demonstrations, to learn how music can improve quality of life, to experience how we use our eyes to navigate, to get the inside scoop on how to test for concussions during sports events, and more! And be sure to visit the kids’ corner with our friends from the NC Museum of Life and Science. Free and open to the public, the event will be held at the Levine Research Science Center at Duke University, 308 Research Drive, DIBS Underground, Room B035 (multipurpose room). This event is part of 2016 Brain Awareness Week at Duke. Parking for this event is free of charge and can be found at the Duke University Research Drive Parking Garage.
Thank you to Duke and DIBS for allowing AEA to be a part of this sure-to-be terrific event!
